So I’ve been watching a lot of TV lately. My neighbor and friend, Charlotte, is out of town and my day isn’t completely filled with stuff to do. There are only so many trips you can make to the grocery story before people think you’re crazy…and it never helps that I’m always checked out by the same person. FML.

So yeah, I’ve been watching seasons of TV shows and a couple of movies, I’d like to share my thoughts on them here. I shall keeps my reviews of each of these to less than approximately 5 sentences.

Parks & Recreation

REVIEW: It has Amy Poehler, do I REALLY need to say much else?! She is AMAZING and just perfect for this role. I was a little worried at first because sometimes people who were AMAZING on SNL just aren’t that great in other media types. But I swear, Amy Poehler will rule the world one day. Not to mention the rest of the cast is just perfect. April Ludgate (the girl in blue jacket on far right) is such an amazing character – LOVE IT!

8 THUMBS UP for Parks and Recreation!

Curb Your Enthusiasm

REVIEW: Already been done!!! Just watch Seinfeld…I felt like all the characters did was get in arguments and yell at each other. I swear, I watched 5 episodes in a row and I had the worst headache of the year. Plus, I must say, Larry David just isn’t the greatest person to stare at for hours on end and I’m not sure if the actors are actual professional ACTORS, but they aren’t that great. I’ll post more if I bring myself to watch any more episodes.

The Vampire Diaries

REVIEW: So I’m not going to lie to you here, this show is rather RETARDED and was really only made for tween/teen girls to oogle at. Also, if you’ve ever seen any other vampire movie, you’ll also think it’s incredibly cliche’ and overdone. But there’s not a single unattractive character in the show, so it’s not NOT worth watching…just sayin’.

500 Days of Summer

REVIEW: If you haven’t seen this movie – GO RENT IT NOW. Not only is it a GREAT movie, but it’s just so freakin’ cute. I loved it! Plus, I challenge you to find a better pair than Joseph Gordon-Levitt¬†&¬†Zooey Deschanel – good actors and pleasant to watch and just FUN! But don’t let it fool you – 500 Days of Summer is NOT a love story, it’s a story about love. ;)

If you don’t agree with any of the above reviews…I guess that means we have different tastes! :P

and I respect that ;)
